Reefer container experience is an advantage — but not compulsory for candidates with a strong refrigeration/HVAC/electrical background.
- Service, maintain and repair reefer containers, reefer trucks and HVAC/refrigeration equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration and mechanical faults
- Diagnose controllers, electrical panels, contactors, relays, sensors, motors and compressors
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
- Carry out electrical testing and fault diagnosis
- Perform installation, testing and commissioning
- Attend breakdowns and provide on-site technical support
- Support warranty repairs and component replacement
- Prepare basic service and technical reports
You may be a good fit if you have experience as a:
Refrigeration Technician • HVAC Technician • Reefer Technician • Electrical Technician • Chargeman • Cold Room Technician • Industrial Maintenance Technician
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate / Diploma / SKM in Electrical, Refrigeration, HVAC, Mechanical or related technical field
- Chargeman A0 / A1 / A4 certification is highly preferred
- 1–3 years of hands-on technical experience preferred
- Able to understand electrical wiring diagrams and perform electrical troubleshooting
- Refrigeration/HVAC knowledge is an advantage
- Reefer container or transport refrigeration experience is a strong advantage
- Valid driving licence with own transportation to commute to and from the workplace.
- Willing to travel and attend on-site/outstation jobs when required.
- Enjoy opportunities to travel and gain hands-on experience across different cities and project locations, with frequent outstation assignments.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, learning and solving technical problems.
This is more than a routine air-conditioning technician position.
You'll have the opportunity to develop experience across industrial refrigeration, reefer containers, transport refrigeration and electrical systems while working with an Authorised Thermo King Dealer.
